Drinking is an accustomed excuse to drive oneself insane. I don’t like drinking. It harms my intellectual and emotional well being. Once the alcohol starts to wear out, you lose the happy and confident moments to nothingness. Our brains have become reliable alcohol deposits and have furthermore developed into alcohol-reliant brains.
Sometimes true. True to some. Naisip ko lang pagnilayan. Haha.
Anyway, I was thinking...
I could become a philo major but again, where's the moolah in philo? It's as moolah-less as writing. I can't shift to Econ or BA (hello, money-making courses!) because I'm Math-phobic. Ok so I'm not. I'm just not as gifted as some people when it comes to playing around with numbers, variables and signs and I've wasted (been wasting) enough time switching schools and frustrating myself with shifting. I could take Psych and endure Math 17 (or 11 and 14 separately haha) and Chem 16. Pero EWAN. I have this sem to figure out what I really want to do. Damnit. Yellow, moolah where are youuuuuuuu?? Gad. If only the world were a little less money-dependent, our lives would be a little less problematic.
My SocSci prof mentioned 3 things that we humans like talking about: love, sex and ourselves. I beg to disagree. It's love, sex, ourselves and the problems that influence all these--money (Obviously. Not unless you're really rich or really oblivious to everything) very much included.

This will sound lame and annoying
Heehee!
I'm kilig because he invited me to his party.
Heehee!
Forgive the irritating language. This is so unbecoming of me. BUT!!! It was the best offline message I got. Hahahaha. Ang maka-gets, SHATAP. Nyaha. =)
Unfortunately, the Nboys decided to go to Lee's instead. So ok, I'll be kilig pa rin because I'm gonna be with Sj. Tssss. (Joke joke joke!♥)
Potangena nakakainis ako magsalita!!! HAHA. Pinagdadasal kong hindi niya mabasa 'to kundi, mamamatay ako. Anyway, I'm off to ballet. Shet this is love.

I'd do pirouettes around you
We were shopping for an oven toaster in the SM Appliance Center in Megamall when my mouth/tongue, being a very, very, very clumsy..uh...organ, decided to blurt out a very unnecessary question to the salespeople who worked there.
"Nameet mo na ba si Henry Sy?"
They all laughed and said no. Sad. If I were to be a businesswoman, I'd most probably try meeting my employees just to be able to make a good impression--caring and all that. Yaknow, go around, shaking oblivious people's hands, knowing that in a span of five months, I'm going to be shaking new hands and I couldn't care less because I'd never feel obliged to memorize their names anyway.
Next time, I'm going to the department store and I'd most probably go around asking them, "What does Henry Sy?" and wait for the variety of reactions such question could pull together.
Watch out, SM!! I'm coming to save youuuuu!!

2 days late
1. I still rely on this blog because I feel safer when I write here. Whatever that means. It's like I feel more freedom of speech in this blog than in LJ, despite the Friends Only stint. Don't ask why. I don't know either. Veekatheblowfish/babblegum feels more like home. Yes siree!
2. I love my grades. =) Bakit kaya walang report card sa UP. TCG lang pero may bayad. My averaged GWA is 1.35. This will remind me in the future that my glory days are over. (Hahaha.) I'm guessing this will be the first and last time I'd be getting happy grades. Oh well. Please let me be. Heehee. Temporary self gratification is the key to a Buddhist wannabe's life. Waha.
3. I have reason to believe that I need anger management classes. Or a psychiatrist. Or a psychologist. Or a friend. But that reason will be kept confidential until further notice.
4. Second Sem, make me busy. I want to stay away from the internet. No, make that LJ. Why? Another reason to be kept until further notice. Heehee. I have this sick feeling the second sem will bring war and grudges to the next level.
5. My efforts to take in Buddhist beliefs have been quite futile. My Buddhist life looks far fetched as of now because I've yet to see how my temperament handles me. Yes, how IT handles me. Good luck to me...or it. May it be able to endure the anguish my moods and emotions bring forth. Amen.
6. Ana's buying the size 6 Chucks my mom mistakenly got for me. FYI, my Chucks size is 3. Yes siree, very, very small chucks for very, very small feet! But she bought me another one with polkadots and I can't wait to wear it to school.=) Polkadoooooots polkadooooots!! We named it Polka. Short for…well, you know what it’s short for. Good luck sayo kung di mo alam.
7. I love you. ♥

This Side
I find it so hard to concentrate on the NOW, as cliche as that italicized phrase may sound. Some people may actually agree with me. On the other hand, those who don't, then good for you. Don't look back and don't look forward. Instead, stay stuck up with the present. Very well, then. To make up for my loss of self worth and self gratification, I shall immerse myself in my NOW because I have yet to see what's so special about it.
NOW...
...Mich is telling about Herbie, a past crush, who apparently is the boyfriend of one of her blockmates.
...I miss Sj.
...I miss Pampanga and the people I was with there.
...I want butong pakwan!!!
...I am trying to watch a replay of Veronica Mars and to type this at the same time.
...I want to come up with something sensible, but am pretty sure it's impossible.
...I am thinking of what job I'd be getting would I choose to stay in this course.
...I am seriously hoping I end up rich in the future. Seriously.
...I am finding possible LJ icons. Loser, I know.
...I am longing for Friday.
...I am thinking of A Lot Like Love because I watched it earlier.
...I want to hug someone.
...I am thinking about Monday night. =)
...I think I need a hug.
...I am worrying about my iPod in dire need of some updating.
...I am singing Follow Through. Come on, sing with me! Oh, if you wanna be with me, you have to follow through with every word you say...
...Jon is telling me about how people call him Pedro Penduko because of his hair.
...I think I need to stop.
No matter what the circumstance may be, more often than not, my nows are related to either the past or the future. Why? Beats me. From what I'm seeing, I always get myself stuck up and I find it so damn hard to get out. I say Buddhism is the answer!! Hahaha.
